Problem Description: The Salsa Grooves interface seems incomplete as shown in the images below. This can be seen in either:
![]() Activation Wizard Dialog b) The Salsa Grooves display. The light bulbs showing the instrument patterns overlap.
![]() Overlapped Images Reason: This behavior has to do with the selected DPI (Display Per Inch property) settings on your computer. When your computer is set to display objects in a larger size (120 DPI) than normal (90 DPI), the light bulbs of Salsa Grooves do not fit the screen in some computers. Solution: The solution is to set your computer display to Normal Size (96 DPI). Changing this setting will not affect your computer or other applications. It just determines how things are displayed on the screen.Follow these steps to change the DPI settings: 1. Right click anywhere on your desktop and select Properties. The "Display Properties" dialog appears.
![]() Desktop Properties 2. On the Display Properties Dialog, click on the "Settings" tab and then on the "Advanced" button. The "Monitor Properties" dialog appears.
![]() Display Properties Dialog 3. On the "General" tab of the "Monitor Properties" dialog, change the DPI setting to "Normal size (96 DPI)"
![]() DPI Size Setting 4. Click the "Apply" button and exit out of all dialogs. You will be asked to restart your computer so that changes can take effect. |
