"As instructors we are grateful to have found this product. Norwegians have great sense for rhythm, but salsa is advanced music, making it challenging to both learn and teach what to listen for when dancing. So many rhythms are played at once - what to listen for? We have seen so many of our students putting a lot of effort into learning the steps, but they struggle with understanding the rhytmical structure that we dance to. The difficulty of teaching/learning to understand salsa music (or anything else for that matter) lies in presenting the material simple enough. Now it is finally easy! One of the unique features with Salsa Grooves is that every sound of each instrument is visualized. The students can SEE what we are trying to tell them. We also love the possibility of burning our own custom made tracks with different instruments, tempo and counts that we can take to class. This is simply a great investement! Many students are unable to accumulate the dancing thaught in class becuse they use too much of their brain to think about the music. They take classes over and over and think they have problems learning the dance - when the real problem is they don't listen properly. All beginners get surprised when they start to go out to the clubs. When there is no instructor there counting for them they get discouraged.
