Salsa 6-week Intensive Training Programs

 

Take your dancing to the next level with these six-week Salsa intensive training programs taught by world-class dancers Carlos Leon and Azucena Perez, founders and directors of Jazzy Dance Company.

We are excited to introduce a new On1 Salsa Intensive so you can now choose from two different programs: On1 (LA Style) and On2 (NY Style).


Both programs have similar class structure yet cover different material. You are welcome to enroll in both as long as you meet the requirements for each class.

Program Description
 
The goal of these Salsa training programs is to improve the student's overall dancing by focusing on key aspects of Salsa such as lead and follow technique, spinning, men's and women's styling, footwork, turn patterns, and body movement. In addition, each class will include targeted stretching and core strengthening exercises to facilitate the student’s execution of dance movement with greater ease.

We are committed to making each class a positive and fun experience where you will make new friends and learn new moves!


Both training programs include a wide range of fundamental Salsa dance skills, including:

  • Salsa spinning technique
  • Partnering technique
  • Frame and Connection
  • Styling for both men and women
  • Body Movement
  • Open footwork
  • Turn Patterns

No partner required. Space is limited to 15 couples per class, early registration is advised!
